Overview
Sarah Gerbers is a graphic designer and illustrator working from a small studio in northwest germany. Being freelance since 2022, she focuses on botanical illustrations for educational, informational and decorative purposes as well as on minimalist brandings, screen designs and design concepts. Her work is inspired by sustainability and environmental awareness so she makes sure that neither animals, humans or nature gets hurt in the process.
About Sarah
Sarah, being born in 1993, always had big interest in nature and natural history. She started making art for friends and family at the age of 14 and after she finished her A-level in 2012 with a major in arts, german and maths she started studying media design at DHBW Ravensburg. Finishing with a bachelor of arts in 2015, she started working for several well-known clients in different agencies all over Germany. While having learned design from scratch, art and illustration have always been her true passion. Rediscovered as a hobby in 2019, illustration grew into a love upon which she built her business since 2022, combining knowledge in branding, screen design and concept with her love for nature-based drawings and paintings.
